a picture is worth a thousand words
Picture of the Carpathian Mountains on Scott’s trip to Ukraine
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Recently Scott has been receiving a lot of pictures from a group he trained in Colombia. Many members from the initial group have now started groups of their own. There is a chat on WhatsApp where they continually post pictures of new groups that they have started. If we didn’t know any better, we would think it was a competition!
Two weeks ago, during a training of Latino pastors in Minnesota, Scott was talking about the reproduction going on in Colombia when his teammate Matt Perez piped up “Actually, they just posted like 10 minutes ago while you were talking!”. Sure enough, Scott pulled out his phone and there were more pictures, which meant new groups. Scott and Matt think there are 10+ groups now, all from the initial investment into the first generation.
Stories of people being trained and then training others is what got us so excited about Bible Pathways when we began, and it continues to fuel our fire! Men and women around the world are receiving this training on how to study the Bible and they are passing it along to others. Each picture we receive truly is worth a thousand words and we give all the praise to the Lord!
We want to sincerely say thank you to all of you who gave so generously and sacrificially this past year.
Each picture taken represents people who are learning how to accurately handle God’s Word. In 2026 we would like to see even more pictures, and we need your help. Would you consider an end of year tax-deductible gift for our ministry? End of year giving fills in the gaps and gives us the ability to travel and train even more.
Would you prayerfully consider joining us as a monthly partner? The Lord continues to meet our needs, and we know that He will provide for the remaining 15% of our monthly ministry needs.
If you are currently a monthly partner, would you consider increasing your giving in 2026 to help us with the cost of inflation and the impact it has had on our ministry?
Enjoy this crossword puzzle and see if you can identify the list of places (8 states and 7 countries) we have traveled to this past year. If you do it as a family, we would love to see a picture of your family doing it together!
Partnering Together,
Scott & Laura
