On our recent trip to Asia, I was confronted with the harsh realization of what life looks like for my sisters as they take up their crosses daily and follow Jesus. I listened as they shared their struggles of isolation, avoidance and alienation. I want you to picture how it would feel to wake up each morning with the genuine desire to love God and love others only to be met with hatred as you try to buy fruits and vegetables for your family at the market. I love how the Lord draws us to Himself as we read and study His Word. This weekend we are heading to Minneapolis to celebrate Makayla graduating from Bethlehem Bible College & Seminary. She has worked very hard, and we are VERY proud of her! The LORD has already provided a job for her as a Spanish-speaking Patient Advocate at a crisis pregnancy center in Minneapolis.

We have been praying and talking about the next season for our family. Our youngest daughter Avianna has completed her senior year of high school and we are looking ahead to an empty nest.
